Alternate #45

“Choose one specific aspect of your existence to document.”

I chose to document how many steps I take on a daily basis.

35 steps around my room in the morning
36 steps to the bathroom
23 steps back
67 more steps around my room
63 steps out to my car
143 steps from my car to my class in Beadle
214 steps to the TC
(There’s a stretch here where I was forced to converse and thus sadly lost count.)
757 steps from Beadle back to my car (the long way around)
68 steps back to my room
5 steps around my bedroom
41 steps downstairs and back to see if the bathroom was open (it wasn't)
58 steps roundtrip from my room to the bathroom
64 steps to my car again
193 steps to my class in Beadle
210 steps to my car again
60 steps into my house
8 more steps, then 25, then 50, then 76

Grand total: 4392+ steps

I did a little research and found that the average U.S. adult walks about 5,900 steps daily. It’s clear to me that I didn't get out enough that day.
