"Record everything you consume in one day."
It's not often we acknowledge those parts of our day that happen just because they happen. We are consumers by nature, and usually, it would seem, we eat because we need to, and use things because we want to (or vice versa). When we consume it tends to be so very obvious to us that it's no wonder we often overlook it. I've decided to record all the things I have consumed and how much it is I've consumed.
It all seems basic enough, but there were many things on my list that I don't usually consider: the ink on the paper or the paper itself for example. This exercise also got me thinking about the other things we use constantly without thinking, such as oxygen-- about 11,000 liters a say-- or energy utilized.
