I went shopping this weekend so I figured I would write about everything that I bought in the last week.

A Successful Shopping Trip
Ingredients:-Roughly 150, split up between four stores (Ulta, Walmart, Shopko, and/or Old Navy recommended, but not required)
-Plenty of gas, amounts may differ depending on traffic/car type
-Energy (enough to last three hours)
Steps:
1. Go to Shopko. You won't want to, but your mother requires it. Look around for roughly 30 minutes before your grandmother suggests a nice, leopard print button up. Show it to your little cousin, who approves.
2. Wander to the makeup aisle. Find nothing, then continue on to the face wash and pick one out.
3. Bring your items to the register, make your purchases, and move on.
4. Go to Old Navy. Your cousin is sleepy and getting cranky, so you leave him and your grandmother in the car while your mother comes in with you. Find where they're hiding the sweaters. Pick out two gray ones, after you've gotten assurance from your mother that they look alright.
5. Grab a shirt, just because it's 9 dollars.
6. Find the clearance section and pick out a denim vest.
7. Mosey on over to the scarves because you can't resist, and buy one. Dismiss the one your mother selects because you don't like the color as much.
8. Pay for your items and go home for the night. You have homework to do.
9. Wake up and go to Walmart. Look through the clothes section until you find first some gray, then blue pants. Put them in the cart once your grandmother wheels it over to you.
10. Go through the jewelry section and find a cute headband that you don't need but will buy anyway.
11. Look at the cardigans that you looked at the last time you were there, then decide that you really do want one.
12. Make your way to the makeup aisle (because, once again, you really can't resist) while your cousin and your grandmother go to look at the fish. Pick out some concealer, then decide that you need some color corrector as well.
13. Go to the self checkout and pay for your items.
14. Go to Ulta to find that mascara you really wanted, then wander throughout the store for the next 20 minutes just in case you find something else that you "need".
15. Find a bottle of makeup remover that is absolutely necessary for you to have, then remember at the last minute that you're out of fingernail polish.
16. Find the new One Direction perfume that you really want. Spray it on a strip of paper because it's 60 dollars and you are not willing to pay that much for perfume.
16. Locate the fingernail polish remover and pick a suitable formula.
17. Make your purchases, and go home.
I love this list of "ingredients" and directions for the perfect shopping recipe! You did a great job. The first stop is Shopko, and as you say in your steps, it's a pretty boring place. I think your description is accurate. That place is never busy anymore, and it's pretty laid back there. Anyway, awesome job.
