Purpose: Make a list of small thoughts you had throughout
the week:
-I should dust my room. –Update-I waited until the weekend
but it got done.
-I should probably get groceries-I ended up buying mozzarella
cheese sticks because I have never made them at home…they were delicious but I
didn’t have anything substantial to eat for the week.-Must go back to the
store.
-I should probably not forget the Digital Curation book-I
forgot…..again…..
-I should buy a calendar or planner so I am more organized.
-I should probably stop binging on Parks and Rec because
once it’s over I am going to be sad.-Update-Currently on Season Five-I’m not
even ashamed.
-I need to do more about an upcoming internship. AHH!
-I tried to suppress an embarrassing memory that occurred during
my childhood…could not banish thought….sat silently in my room alone embarrassed……for
40 minutes….
-I should read more-Update-Got a new book and began to read
every night before bed.
-I should probably go to bed earlier.
-I should stop feeding my cat human food. Now I can’t eat
anything without her begging.
This exercise has led me to the realization that I talk to
myself way too much. Also I need to be more organized. I now have at least
thirty more thoughts swarming my brain.
I love the "updates" you have in your list of thoughts. It's funny that sometimes no matter how many times we remind ourselves not to forget about something, like the Digital Curations textbook, we still forget. That's why I try to write myself lists as much as possible. If I don't write it down, I'll forget. I love the kitty picture! As a way to discourage yourself from feeding her human food, I've heard (not sure if it's credible) that feeding pets table scraps can cause them liver problems. Wow, I'm leaving this comment at a depressing mood. Um, butterflies, rainbows, and unicorns. Happy thoughts!
