Invisible City-Exploration #35

Spring semester, I studied in New Jersey at Ramapo College. Having never been to New York City, I chose Ramapo because it was so close to it. Every chance that I got, I took the bus into the city by myself or with others to explore a place that a Midwesterner like myself has never seen before. Needless to say, New York City quickly became my most favorite place on earth. Because I am from a small town in the middle of nowhere South Dakota, the city became somewhat of a magical place for me. That is why I chose to use this exercise out of the text. One of the parks that I went to while in the city was Washington Square Park. Located in Lower Manhattan, Washington Square Park is best known for its Washington Arch, which is pictured above. Since the city became such a magical place for me, I decided to put a sort of portal inside the arch, which I've decided, leads you to an "altered" and futuristic form of New York City.
